EnPro Industries: Garlock and Technetics Group Websites Receive Awards From Business Marketing Association

Technetics Group, Columbia, SC, and the Garlock family of companies, Palmyra, NY, EnPro Industries (NYSE: NPO) companies, each was named best in category at the 2013 Bell Awards for business-to-business marketing and advertising for creating new websites that transformed a traditional product-focused approach into a market-specific, solution-based approach.
A national panel of marketing executives from prominent corporations and advertising-marketing agencies analyzed and reviewed hundreds of entries. One of the judging criteria was results produced by the website. Since its launch in 2012, the Technetics website has received more than 61,000 unique visitors who spend more than five minutes on the website per visit. The Garlock website increased visitors from 350,000 in 2011, to more than 480,000 in 2012.
“These are amazing numbers, and we are so pleased that our customers and end users are finding the information they need from Garlock,” says Mari Foley, Global Marketing Manager for the Garlock family of companies. Technetics Director of Marketing, Amy Davis agrees. “Our new website is the result of an incredible amount of work, but our efforts are definitely allowing us to reach out to more prospective customers and current customers in new and exciting ways.”
The “bell” is highly coveted in the marketing and advertising profession. The award was presented at a ceremony in Milwaukee, WI, on Thursday, April 25, where staff members from EPIC Creative— the West Bend, WI marketing and advertising firm who designed the sites for Technetics and Garlock—accepted on their clients’ behalf.
